Day 1: Arrival Luang Prabang
Pick up at the airport and transfer to hotel, after check in at the hotel, we take a walking tour to discover LuangPrabang, the oldest city in Laos. Before the 16th century LuangPrabang was the capital city of the land of a Million Elephants (Laos).The town is beautifully preserved and in 1995 became A UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE. Most of the best temples of Lao/ French architecture are along Phothisalat Road, which is where you will find the Royal Palace Museum. You should also visit Xieng Thong Temple, which was built by King Setthathirath in 1559 before moving the capital to Vientiane. Before 1975 it was considered the royal temple. Lunch in a restaurant by the Mekong River. In the afternoon we visit the weaving village just 4 km out of LuangPrabang to see local hand weaving products and handmade papers.

Day 2: Luang Prabang
After breakfast we drive to Kuangsy waterfall, where we have a picnic lunch after swimming. We stay overnight in LuangPrabang. In the late afternoon we walk up to the top of Phousy mount (328 steps). The marvelous mountain IS in the center of the town; the holy stupa on top was built by A Luangprabang king in 1804. The view from the top is superb, especially in the evening when the sunset colors the Mekong River red before disappearing behind the mountains. From the top you will get a perfect 360° panoramic view of the whole city and a very beautiful sunset.

Day 3: LuangPrabang – Vangvieng
After breakfast we bus to VangVieng. We Stay overnight at a hotel in VangVieng.

Day 4: Vangvieng
Vangvieng is 155 km north of Vientiane on Road 13 North. The town lies along the bank of the Namsong River. The landscape is made up of strange shaped limestone mountains, with caves created by erosion.
There is an optional cycle ride outside the town to see countryside villages and caves and to swim at the natural pool, kayak or relax to enjoy the beautiful scenery of VangVieng.

Day 5: Vangvieng – Vientiane
Bus to Vientiane, we stay overnight at a hotel.

Day 6: Vientiane
Vientiane has been the capital of Laos since 1560, when the country was divided into three kingdoms, then lost its independence after the Siam ESE (Thai) invasion in late 18th century. Vientiane remained empty until the end of the 19th century. It began to be resettled again little by little. After breakfast we visit Phakeo temple (emerald Buddha temple) the That Luang stupa is the oldest and largest in Laos. We shop at the morning market and stay at a hotel.

Day 7: Vientiane – Bangkok
After leisurely breakfast, transit to airport for one-hour flight to Bangkok. After arrival, transit by own taxi to riverfront hotel. Balance of day free in Bangkok or fly back to your country.
